Winter Storm Reminders

Just a couple reminders for the winter storm this weekend….
1. BE SAFE!
2. The township has a strict ordinance that in the event of snow accumulation greater than 3″, parking on any township streets is prohibited until all snow has been completely removed from the full width of the roadways. This allows for full visibility for our drivers and full clearing of the roadways. Street parking in a storm is unsafe and violators are subject to a $15 fine when ticketed by our Police Department or towing at owners expense when necessary.
3. Township roads DO NOT HAVE A DOUBLE YELLOW LINE DOWN THE MIDDLE – those are PENN DOT roads and we do not treat, plow, or salt those roads. Our crews will be out and working as fast and safely as possible.
