Shelter Reservations
Shelter Reservations will take place online for 2024 dates.
Reservations will open starting on March 6, 2024 at 10:00 am and the shelters can be rented
April 15 – October 31, 2024.
To make your reservation processes go as smoothly as possible on March 6, 2024 at 10:00 am, here are some tips:
Log on to Rec Desk here and create your personal account. This can be done anytime before making your reservation.
Have your date in mind and when March 6, 2024 at 10:00 am hits, you can reserve your shelter space here.
Be prepared to pay online via credit card (3% processing fee) or pay via cash or check within 48 hours to the municipal building. If your payment has not been received within 48 hours, your reservation will be canceled and you will have to re-book when you are ready.

About Our Shelters

Shelter #1 is the large pavilion located in the rear of the park. It can hold approximately 60 people and has 9 Picnic Tables. Rental fees for Shelter # 1 are: Chippewa Township Resident: $60.00 Non-Residents: $75.00 Security Deposit: $100.00

Shelter #2 is the smaller pavilion located in the front of the park. It can hold approximately 36 people and includes use of the nearby gazebo, and has 6 picnic tables. Rental fees for Shelter #2 are: Chippewa Township Resident: $60.00 Non-Residents: $75.00 Security Deposit: $100.00

Shelter #3 is the old pool house and our largest space which can hold up to 100 people. There are 6 picnic tables and additional folding tables and chairs in storage for your use. Rental of Shelter #3 includes indoor restrooms, a nearby playground, and use of a small kitchenette with a fridge, wet sink, and ice machine. Rental fees for Shelter #3 are: Chippewa Township Resident: $100.00 Non-Residents: $150.00 Security Deposit: $100.00
